Affordable Health Insurance Alternatives in Colorado

If you don't qualify for marketplace tax credits, a health share paired with a direct primary care membership can cost less each month than a marketplace plan.

Elevated Direct Primary Care in Northglenn gives you unlimited visits with your own doctor for $150 a month. Phoenix HealthShare helps with large medical bills, starting around $135 a month for a single adult.

Health Share and DPC FAQs

Only in a limited way at first. Conditions from the 24 months before you join aren't shared in year one and are capped at $50,000 in year two. Well-managed high blood pressure, cholesterol and diabetes are exceptions.

Anyone who qualifies for sizable tax credits, expects a baby in the next year, needs regular prescriptions or mental health care, or has an ongoing condition. Phoenix doesn't share those, and marketplace plans must cover them.

Phoenix doesn't share routine checkups or preventive care. A DPC membership covers that everyday care for a flat monthly fee, so the health share is there for large, unexpected bills.
